    Bruny Laguerre, Managing Director

    Bruny Laguerre is a Global Impact and Policy Advisor with 14+ years of experience advancing gender equality, protection, and systems change across Africa, the Caribbean, and global policy arenas. She has shaped over $400M in donor-funded programs across 17 countries, connecting grassroots realities with institutional frameworks to deliver measurable, systemic impact.

    Her expertise integrates feminist Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), participatory research, and policy influence, equipping governments, INGOs, and donors to turn commitments into context-driven action. Bruny has partnered with leading institutions, including USAID, Global Affairs Canada, UNHCR, and Mercy Corps.

    Fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole, she champions systems thinking and authentic partnerships to drive inclusive change.

    Mary Mumbi, Director of Finance and Strategic Partnerships

    Mary Mumbi is an Inclusive Finance, Operations & Strategy Executive with over 15 years’ experience leading multi-country donor-funded programs and corporate initiatives.

    She is a specialist in gender-responsive budgeting, inclusive governance, and strategic financial planning, with a track record of aligning capital allocation to impact and ROI targets. Mary has held senior leadership roles in research, edtech, fintech, and non-profit sectors across Africa, Europe, and North America, advising boards and steering high-value partnerships.

    She holds an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from Commonwealth University, an MBA from Strathmore University, and a BCom in Finance from KCA University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K). Mary is passionate about embedding gender equity in resource allocation, driving digital finance transformation, and turning grassroots evidence into policy and investment decisions.

    Christina Wanjohi, Gender Advisor

    Christina is a seasoned Gender Equality and Disability Inclusion (GESI) Advisor with 13+ years of experience advancing rights-based, inclusive programming across humanitarian and development contexts. She has partnered with INGOs, NNGOs, OPDs, CBOs, and governments to embed gender parity, disability rights, and social justice into policy and practice.

    Her expertise encompasses audits, intersectional analyses, and inclusive assessments, with a proven track record guiding cross-sectoral teams in Kenya, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Somalia. Christina is skilled in participatory research, using FGDs, KIIs, social mapping, and community scorecards to elevate marginalized voices and inform adaptive programming.

    She has held senior advisory roles with Mercy Corps and Humanity & Inclusion, and holds a Master’s in Gender and Development.

    WinnieTubey, PhD.

    Dr. Winnie Tubey is a research leader and governance strategist passionate about building sustainable futures. She works at the intersection of climate resilience, tourism development, ethical AI, and inclusive policy, drawing on over 15 years of experience in academia, consultancy, and community engagement.

    As Chair of the Postgraduate Committee in the Department of Hospitality and Human Ecology at the Technical University of Kenya, she mentors the next generation of researchers while leading projects that connect evidence to action.

    Winnie also chairs Transfo Green World, where she champions climate-smart agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and youth empowerment. Her collaborations with Usawa Agenda, WWF Kenya, NECSA-Kenya, and Nairobi City County have shaped policy reforms and contributed to global conversations at forums like UNEA-6 and the Global Major Groups & Stakeholders Forum.
