  • Bruny Laguerre

    Managing Director, Thrivbold

    Bruny Laguerre is a dedicated advocate for gender equality, specializing in systemic strategies, research, and advisory roles across Africa and the Global South.

    She has spearheaded numerous multi-country projects, including research initiatives, gender assessments, and advisory services for a diverse range of governments, donors, and civil society organizations.

    Before ThrivBold, Bruny held influential regional and technical leadership positions in major development programs across Africa. Her roles include serving as a Regional Gender Advisor for Nutrition International, leading as Gender and Youth Director for a USAID-supported food security initiative in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and advising Mercy Corps on gender and social inclusion in West and Central Africa.

    Dr. Winnie Tubey is a research leader and governance strategist passionate about building sustainable futures. She works at the intersection of climate resilience, tourism development, ethical AI, and inclusive policy, drawing on over 15 years of experience in academia, consultancy, and community engagement. As Chair of the Postgraduate Committee in the Department of Hospitality and Human Ecology at the Technical University of Kenya, she mentors the next generation of researchers while leading projects that connect evidence to action.

    Winnie also chairs Transfo Green World, where she champions climate-smart agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and youth empowerment. Her collaborations with Usawa Agenda, WWF Kenya, NECSA-Kenya, and Nairobi City County have shaped policy reforms and contributed to global conversations at forums like UNEA-6 and the Global Major Groups & Stakeholders Forum.

  • Our delivery Model

    • ThrivBold works with a carefully selected network of researchers, evaluators, GESI specialists, policy advisors, facilitators, safeguarding practitioners, data professionals and field researchers.
    • Each team is designed around the technical requirements, geography, language and institutional context of the assignment.
    • Every engagement is guided by ThrivBold’s methodological standards, feminist principles and commitment to producing evidence that institutions can use. The Managing Director provides strategic oversight, technical direction and final quality assurance.
    • We select specialists according to the questions being examined and the expertise required. This allows ThrivBold to combine policy, research, feminist MEL, safeguarding, quantitative analysis, qualitative inquiry and facilitation within one coherent assignment.
